VIDEOGAME DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT HISTORY
Our videogame
development department started in 1999, taking advantage of the
software engineering knowledge acquired on a wide range of projects.
Encryption
systems for the Spanish Ministry of Defence, software for aerospace
engineering, and software for special video effects on the cinema
industry, are some of the projects we were involved in.
Zeta Multimedia,
a main Spanish multimedia publisher, were interested on the development
of a videogame based on their most famous comic characters Mortadelo
& Filemon". The beginning of this project marked the start
of the new videogame department. Since then, we've created up to
four videogames, all of them distributed by Zeta Multimedia in Spain.
Nowadays, the
department has become one of the strongest videogame creators in
our market. A sign of that is the recent deal reached with Filmax
to joingly develop a new game. Filmax, one of the biggest Spanish
film production and distribution companies, has already started
production stage of an animation film based on the historic character
El Cid, and we're starting the development of an accompanying adventure
videogame based on the same character.
